1717-1719: Pedal added by Johan Radeker and Rudolf Garrels. New bellows, new pitch.

Text: "Dieses Pedaal ist aus liebe zu Gott und seiner Evangelischen Lutherischen Gemeinde alhier in Groningen von ettlichen Liebhabern verehret im Jahre Christi, 1717. Durch Johan Radeker und Rudolf Garrels als Orgelmacher verdungen und verfertigt zu der Zeit ist an dieser Kirche Organist gewesen Gerlacus Benedictus Schofselaer".

1819: Wider wind-trunks by Hermann Eberhard Freytag.

1838: New manuals by Hermann Eberhard Freytag.

1852: New Rugpositief by Hermann Eberhard Freytag and his son Willem Frederik. The organ now has 3 manuals and 31 ranks.

1896: New organ by Gebr. Van Oeckelen. The Rugpositief was sold to Gasseltenijveen. See http://www.orgelsindrenthe.nl for details about the Rugpostief

2014: Starting in 2014 plans are made to make a reconstruction of the Schnitger organ in 2017.

2015:  On 29 october 2015 the contract for a reconstruction by Bernhard Edskes was signed in the church of Uithuizen.

2015: Two statues of the old Schnitger organ were preserved at the van Oekelen-orgel in Appelscha. In may 2015 they were handed over to the Foundation.
